New friends

Well almost 1 month here, baru lah sorang lagi mangsa datang ke QP...

Budak Malaysia, nama dia Masrina Md Saad...

Actually, lam dept aku nie, ada lebih kurang 13 org Malaysia, sorang tuu dah lama kat sini since 1985. Ikut hubby dia keje ngan gomen qatar nie...

Second is me, as a scout utk budak2 baru...

Sebenarnyer dah lama kenal derang nie, dok but TT kat Mesia, sblm aku berangkat ke Doha. So takder ahh terkejut sgt bila berjumpa.

So Mas came to Doha, same thing happen lah, duduk Grand Regency, then pindah ke 7th Pearls, tuu utk org bujang sahaja... cam aku nyer case, derang ingat aku dtg ngan anak bini, padahal dah cakap dtg single... Itu yg dapat rumah gedabak besar tuu...

Well anyways, one week after that, the 3rd mangsa, Bryan Lum Mun Hoon datang...

Just imagine sebulan aku kat Qatar, tiap kali lepas keje, aku lik umah, kali nie, 2 minggu berturut2, dok keluar, gie shopping barang ngan derang... Wah... giler penat siot... tapi well worth it.

So here we are, the 3 musketeers.

New friends and an evening at ShoreLine Beach Resort

About a week after raya, met a new friend. Cik Tarina, from Qatar Airways, ask her if she could help me pesan some items from Malaysia.

When she came back to Qatar, I went to see her, and pick up the items that my parents bought. Best nyer, all instant cook dish... Terima Kasih daun keladi cik Tarina....

Apa lagi, petang tuu, balik umah, enjoy lar masakan melayu... woohoo...







1 week later, i remembered a friend of mine working in Qatar. He came here 1 month before I did.

Cari punya cari no contact dia, akhirnya jumpa.

Zainuddin Mohamed aka ZM. Called him up, then jumpa kat Lulu Hypermarket. Punya lar happy dok jumpa geng, so we all lepak at Souq Wakif, pekena masakan Malaysia, Restoran Sri Kebaya.

So one weekend, boring nyer pasal, i rented out a Toyota Camry, kena lam QR 250 perday. Called ZM out, and off we go to Shoreline.

Lepak sana, till lewat malam... then straight went back home... overall a good night spent with frens.

Next day, went out for breakfast... then to Cornich...

This is a Dow Boat... for QR20 it will tak u a tour of Cornich for around 20 minutes... with some Hindi music being played..

One of the building behind me is my office...

Nice place for a jog or a walk, even nicer to have your loved ones together to talk n walk...

Beraya di Doha

Well.... dok tak dok... dah nak masuk hari raya...

Naper lah aku leh lupa nak bawak CD lagu raya. CD blue banyak lah... oppsss...

Aku tak bawak pun... aku budak baik...(yeah right!!)

So yang best nak buat cerita nyer... pergilah aku malam raya tuu nak solat terawih...

Aku dgn bersemangat nyer, sebab aku tau Malaysia raya day after tomorrow. Half way thru solat terawih. dok dgr pak arab dok bising2.

Lepas tuu more then half jemaah keluar masjid...

Hampeh nyior... rupanyer esok raya... derang dapat tau lambat... tuu takper gaks... dok sembang ngan senior2 kat qatar nie, last year, derang tak tau that day was raya, so semua org posa... tak gila dibuat nyer???

Tapi tuu citer last year... this year, solat terawih separuh jalan jer... lepas tuu apa lagi, lari gie cyber cafe, call family ahh... tak nangis pun... control macho lah katakan...

So esok nyer, alhamdulilah, sorang kawan yang baru dua kali bertemu muka, invite aku solat raya kat embassy Malaysia di Doha... apa lagi... follow jer ahh...

En. Asyraf, dan anak2 (isteri dia Pn. Zura tarak, sebab tgh ambik gambar), Anak sulung nama Melia, n kecik skali nama Mirul. (Psssttt... si Melia tuu ada hati kat aku tau, sebab tiap kali lepak kat umah aku, dia akan cakap... Uncle Rizal, nak tukar game PS2, tak pernah dia mintak mak atau ayah dia tukarkan DVD Game... aku gaks mangsa utama....)

Selamat Hari Raya... Best gaks raya sorang2 nie... enjoy siot...

Later we went to Rumah Duta, dia buat open house, after that, kami ke Al Khor... few open houses.

Welcome to Al Bayyan Garden

Well, moved from a 5 star hotel to a Compounded Villa, called Al Bayyan Garden. Majority of QP senior staff stays there for the first 3 months (during probation), biasa ahh, company nak mengayat sikit.

dah confirm lantak pi lah hangpa nak tinggal mana... depa campak jer tak mana2 kita nie...
